WHAT’S A DAQ OFF
It’s Daq Off is a global competition brand born from the iconic daiquiri—the ultimate test of balance, speed, and bartending skill. The first DAQ-OFF gatherings began back in 2010, growing into a playful yet serious showdown within the rum and cocktail community, and gaining traction on social media soon after. In June 2025, we officially launched It’s Daq Off with our first international competition in Madrid, Spain, bringing a fresh, high-energy format to the scene.
The rules are simple: three classic ingredients, two daiquiris made side-by-side—one served to the judge, the other downed by the competitor—timed for speed and style. With contestants racing next to each other, the scoreboard tracks every second, and the fastest shaker wins the night. Beyond the stage, we invite everyone to bring the spirit home: host your own DAQ-OFF with friends, compete for bragging rights, and celebrate the daiquiri like never before.
